Her desire is to connect both with those who know God, by encouraging them in their walk, and with those who are seeking God, showing them the hope we have in Christ. Karen is an Artist Representative for Compassion International. Karen and her husband Roger have sponsored children from Compassion for over 15 years, with their first sponsored child, Valmond, from Haiti graduating the program in early 2002. They are now sponsoring their second child, Princess Joy from the Philippines. It is because of this first-hand understanding of Compassion that Karen's desire was to make the Compassion message a part of her concerts. |
